Once again Chul and I tried our luck at Mission Viejo Lake. With bass currently in spawning and post spawning modes, we were confident we would be able to get on some aggressive bass. We were wrong. The lake's clear water is now green and visibility is poor. Other than near the marina, we saw no beds or fish for that matter. Chuk managed to hook up on one juvenile LMB before it came unglued near the boat. I had one bump that I missed. We fished from 11:30 to 2:30. Wind picked up seriously around 1:30.
